Elegant stucco decoration, wooden sheathing of a tiled roof, corners’ rustication — this residential house is designed in a distinctly classical style. But a quiet composition is enlivened by the second floor attic. Sharply protruding volumes, windows with beveled corners - this is a way to implement the idea of dynamics in statics.
As a result, classics acquires actual sounding even without inclusion of clearly modern stylistic solutions. In this case, angled lines do not bring in dissonance. On the contrary, they give birth to a special harmony: outlines of large windows highlighted by a light frame, echo the roof slope — it gives the composition cohesion and integrity.
